      For your first class, you'll typically only need comfortable workout clothes. Once you officially join, the essentials are a Taekwondo uniform (dobok) and a white belt. As you progress to sparring, you will need a full set of protective gear, including a head guard, chest protector, shin guards, and mouthguard.

      Taekwondo dobok sizing is generally based on height in centimetres. For example, a size 170 is for someone approximately 170cm tall. Always check the specific size chart on the product page, as brands can vary. If you are between sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size.

      The primary difference is the jacket style. World Taekwondo (WT) style uniforms feature a V-neck pullover jacket. International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) style uniforms have a wrap-around jacket that closes at the front with velcro or a zip.
