Who Is Green Hill?
Green Hill Sports is one of the officially licensed equipment manufacturers of FIAS, Sambo's international governing body, and is also an approved supplier to IMMAF, the International MMA Federation. Their gear is manufactured in Russia and developed with input from elite Russian and international Sambo and MMA athletes and coaches, and the company distributes globally with offices across several countries.
Is Green Hill Sambo Gear FIAS-Approved?
It depends on the specific item, so it's worth checking the label on each product rather than assuming. Right now we stock two Green Hill Sambo shoes at two different certification levels:
- FIAS Approved: tested and certified against Sambo's international governing body's full specification, suitable for official competition.
- FIAS Tested: a lower-cost option, worth confirming with your event organiser whether it meets the requirements for a specific competition before you compete in it.
