Because the Evolution uses the Quad Core system, it will feel "stiffer" out of the box compared to softer gloves like the Sting Viper. This is intentional. Give it 10-15 rounds on the heavy bag to break in the leather and mold the gel to your knuckles. Once broken in, it offers the best feedback (that satisfying "snap" sound) in the Sting lineup.
